Youth & Student Workshops

Youth & Student Workshops.

The Youth & Student Workshops at The Home of Ubuntu & Wellness provide transformative experiences for young people, fostering growth, self-awareness, and inclusivity through interactive sessions tailored to different age groups. From elementary students (JK–Grade 8) to high school juniors and seniors (Grades 9–12), these workshops integrate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) concepts with cultural heritage to build stronger identities, emotional intelligence, and community connections. Through the Ancestral Café, youth explore their roots, learn coping mechanisms, and embrace diverse perspectives, promoting mental well-being and resilience. Creative outlets like music, dance, and art inspire personal expression while interactions with elders instill respect for wisdom and tradition. These workshops empower youth to preserve cultural heritage and develop into compassionate, well-rounded, and culturally aware individuals, equipped to navigate today’s world with confidence and empathy.
